Our client is a global leader in the drug discovery marketplace, consistently recognized in the industry for innovative and reliable assays and superior customer support. Due to continued growth, they are expanding, seeking candidates with strong technical depth and a successful track record in reagent sales to maintain and grow their business within pharma and biotech accounts in Boston, Western MA and in select key accounts outside the region.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS in life sciences; advanced degree a plus
  • 2+ years technical sales experience, representing a reagents portfolio (MAY consider an FAS with strong aptitude for sales)
  • Established relationships in the regional biotech and pharma accounts
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Drug Discovery process, particularly related to Assay Development, Screening and Lead Optimization is preferred
  • Knowledge of HTS applications, cell based assays, GPCRs and antibody therapeutics a plus
  • Hunter mentality; strong prospecting skills; missionary sales experience desirable
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • 40-50% travel

Compensation: Competitive base salary and uncapped commission, Car allowance, matching 401k and excellent benefits.
